DILATATION EXPANSION JOINTS (UNIVERSAL TIED EXPANSION JOINTS)

Dilatation Expansion joints are also known as Universal Tied Expansion Joints or Lateral Expansion Joints. Lateral Expansion Joints can able to absorb the movements occurred in two directions. Dilatation Expansion Joints are consisting of two stainless steel bellows connecting each other with intermediate carbon steel pipe and all these intact with tie rod. Tie rods are capable of restraining the pressure trust. Universal Tied Expansion Joints are used all kind dilatation points in the buildings.

Advantages of the Dilatation Expansion Joints

  • Compensate large expansion values by changing the length of intermediate pipe or convolution numbers of the bellows on each side of the expansion joints.
  • Absorb the lateral movements occurred in all planes
  • Have minimum application area. By using Dilatation Expansion Joints you do not need to use sturdy pipe anchors, several pipe guides or slides.
