TLG Top-Mounted Magnetic Level Indicator
A top-entry magnetic level indicator for vessels where side connections are not possible — a guide tube with an internal magnetic float is mounted through a top flange, driving an external bi-colour flap indicator, in stainless-steel construction with no power required.

When should I choose a top-mounted magnetic level indicator?
When the vessel has no usable side nozzles — for example an underground tank, a sump, or a vessel whose sides are inaccessible — so the gauge must enter from the top.
How does a top-mounted gauge show the level?
A float rides on the liquid in a top-entry cage; its magnet is read externally and shown on a bi-colour flag indicator, giving a clear, continuous reading without any sight of the fluid.
Can it still give a 4–20 mA signal?
Yes. A magnetostrictive or reed-chain transmitter can be fitted to the top-entry assembly for a continuous output, along with level switches for alarms.
Is it suitable for underground tanks?
Yes — top entry is exactly why it suits buried and side-inaccessible tanks, where a side-mounted bypass cannot be installed.
How long can the float cage be?
The cage is engineered to the vessel depth and the level span to be measured; deep tanks are accommodated by design.
