Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the TLG Standard the "standard" model?
It is the base configuration — chamber, magnetic float and bi-colour flag rail — with no scale, valves or added instrumentation. It covers the majority of everyday tank and vessel level duties.
How is the level shown?
A column of two-colour flags on the outside of the chamber flips as the float passes, so the boundary between the colours marks the liquid surface continuously and can be read at a glance.
Does it need electrical power?
No. The flag display is driven only by the float's magnet. Power is required solely if you later add level switches or a 4–20 mA transmitter.
Can I add a transmitter or switches later?
Yes. The chamber can be specified ready for reed-chain switches and a transmitter, so you can start with visual indication and add signals when needed.
What is the maximum length available?
Level spans from a few hundred millimetres to several metres are typical; longer spans are engineered as required for tall vessels.
Does TOTFLEX export the TLG Standard worldwide?
Yes — TOTFLEX manufactures it in Turkey and delivers it globally with full documentation.
