Float Type Level Transmitter
A buoyant magnetic float rides a reed-resistor chain inside the stem — continuous tank level as a 4–20 mA loop signal, with an optional field indicator for local read-out and control.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the float type level transmitter work?
A magnet inside the float actuates a chain of reed relays and series resistors along the stem; the resistance changes continuously with level and is converted to a 4–20 mA output.
What resolution can it achieve?
Detection steps of 15, 10 or 5 mm depending on the reed spacing you order — finer spacing gives finer resolution.
What output signals are available?
4–20 mA two-wire is standard; 4–20 mA, 0–20 mA or 0–10 V three-wire and plain resistance output are optional.
What are the temperature and length limits?
Working temperature up to 125 °C, with stem lengths up to 6000 mm including the thread.
Which materials are used?
304 stainless steel float, stem and wetted parts as standard, with 316 stainless optional for aggressive media.
Can I read the level locally?
Yes — the optional field indicator displays the level at the tank and can be used for on-site control.
